hello all i’m back form con-g and i must say i had an extremely good time. Tiny con but just filled to bursting with fun.
here’s a little video i found that relay captures the feel i think. (I’m in their if you look close)
I did some panels, got to be at the judging end of things for once, met some great people and had a tea party with a pokemon. all and all an awesome time and i’d do it again in a heart beat.
(poke-tea went a little something like this btw)
now its back to work for me i really want to get atomic robo 1.5 done asap and than get back to doing commissions.
ello ello, i know i’m guilty of abit of blog neglect but things have been on the slow side the last few weeks. but their are a few nuggets of interest i can pile together in to something close to a good update.
first i did abit of shifting around my space, moved a few shelves took down my gundam (it was starting look abit fared at the edges and i needed the space) and played with were i put my table. i think things are alot more comfortable now. i also lined up all my masks and helms for a nifty little looky what i did display.
second i bought myself a mat board cutter. i love it. you have no idea how much of my time i’ve spent just cutting cardboard (or poster board) in to strips. something i’ve had to do up to this point on the floor with my knee on a ruler while i cut them. not fun , not fun at all. now with my new best friend i set the size and slice slice slice all the strips i want! big strips, little strips ,EVEN SQUARES! so beautiful.
third i’ve started work on atomic robo v1.5 which will entail building a new set of arms and chest for him designed to be warn with cloths such as robo wears
the rest of my time i’ve been drawing lately both dr. H and another comic project i’m doing myself called “mega cyborg monster fighting geek force go!”
i started it 3 years ago then sorta forgot about it till i dug through my art archive afew weeks ago and and to my surprise actually found them funny so now with my new tech and skills i’ve decided to pick it up where i left off. i’ve not decided what i’m going to do with them yet. right now their just fun to make.
